Scuba Diving

This will be worked on in the near future.
About seven years ago I was an active scuba diver.
My first scuba experience was on Elba in Italy. I went home and began working through the different courses.
Home at the time was Denmark, so diving in dry suit was usually the choice with thick wetsuits in the summer.
Denmark has some amazing diving with numerous wrecks including great wrecks from World War II.

When I attained the PADI Divemaster rating I spent six months on a sailboat in southern Spain.
After this my goal was the Instructor rating which I earned at Dive Asia on the island Phuket in Thailand. Life has since brought me to South Dakota and scuba diving has been put on hold.
In May of 2009 my wife and I will be traveling to Dominica where we will be scuba diving with the people at Nature Island Dive.

We are naturally very exited. I can't wait to be under water again and have had all my old equipment (in surprisingly good shape) serviced.
We have purchased new gear and my wife is in the middle of being PADI Open Water certified.

The vast majority of my scuba diving experience in Denmark was centered around Lillebælt which is a strait between the Danish island of Funen and the Jutland Peninsula.
